According to the Mayor in Morristown NJ the town is planning to build a skate park. It's about time!
I skated Morristown a lot back in the 80's. The cops gave us crap all the time for skateboarding in the streets and they hauled us down to the police station many times. The best was one time when the police chased our whole posse from the train station to the local skate shop and one kid slapped a "Skateboardings Not a Crime" sticker on the back of the cops leather jacket.
Morristown Mayor promises skateboard park and more
I hope this will be better than Chatham or Randolph's parks. A concrete park would is what's needed or at least concrete for the "street". This Mayor's on his way out so hopefully the plan continues. It's ridiculous that you can't skate on the sidewalks in Morristown.
